Ah, Miami.
I moved from Los Angeles to Miami in June of 2020, and I must confess: I felt like a made a huge mistake.
It was such a difficult adjustment, and I don’t think I ever fully adjusted, which would lead to me leaving Miami in February of 2022.
However, toward the end of my stay in Miami, after a full year or so of not doing stand-up due to the COVID pandemic, I finally got back on stage.
I made lifelong friends, got lots of comedy experience, took risks, met new people, and rediscovered a part of my identity that I had lost after leaving Los Angeles.
Grateful to my comedian friends in and from Miami. They’re all awesome.
